![]() Rastor1 Oldmoon, Hammer, 1360 DR (The Year of the Turret) The group leaves behind the Ruined Temple and the shire of Nulb, and ventures into the hills where they think a small village lies. Along the way they meet a dwarf and a human who seem to be traders, pulling a cart down the small mountain path. Without a second thought, the group butchers the two merchants throwing their bodies to the side of the road, and take their two garrons as pack animals.
The leader of the tribe is a large muscular female, who demaded that she have an offering before she gave up any information on the ochre-robed priests. Serregeth gives up his horse and then she tells Serregeth that she will have nothing to do with the Stalgos or the ochre-robed priests. Serregeth challenges them and asks if they have any courage, which incites some of the orcs who had gathered nearby. Three orcs decide to join the group and go to the mountain, however the tribe leader orders her bodyguards to attack, only one orc survived. Anung, Serregeth and the new recruit, Mynkha manage to flee over the hills and back to the group. The group heads back to Rastor, and makes it in time for sundown. They enter the only inn in town, the Gray Lodge. Anung anounces to the roudy crowd that they are a preforming troupe. He is the minstrel, Delthar is the strong man who proves it by pummeling two men and wrestling a half-orc. Gibli is the small man (smaller than a dwarf), and Malchior is the bearded lady (well, she can grow a beard if she didn't shave). Anung sings for the crowd, Malchior sneaks upstairs and gets a room. Ashlyn takes a man outside to an alleyway where she infects him with a disease. Meanwhile, Delthar and Serregeth have incited a group of dwarves to fight a group of half-orcs. The two sides clash in the street, meanwhile Ashlyn casts more spells to infect the combatants with more disease. Ashlyn sleeps in the cemetary and the rest all get rooms. 2 Oldmoon, Hammer, 1360 DR (The Year of the Turret) In the morning they notice that Mynkha is gone, and so are the horses that were stabled nearby. The group presses on, taking the right path towards the Stalgos. Stopping at a small lake in the mountains to refill waterskins, the group notices a strange turtle-like creature. They gather their water and continue on, just before dusk ahead on the path, the group spots two worm-like creatures feasting on a large carcass. They make to move around them through the forest, which mostly works, except for Gibli who was too slow. Getting closer, the group comes upon a patrol of human warriors. Gibli moves ahead and prepares for an ambush, but the patrol has sensed danger and prepare as well. After a couple of minutes, one of them comes out of hiding and walks ahead on the path. He announces to go back upon pain of death, at which point members of the party fire arrows at him and he runs back down the path, as well as the rest of the scouting patrol. The group manages to kill three, but not before they run off down the path. The group makes camp hidden in the woods. ( The adventure continues in The Front Gate ) ==>
